Juliana Couto Paes was born on March 26, 1979, in Rio Bonito, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is a renowned Brazilian actress best known for her roles in popular telenovelas such as India: A Love Story (2009), Edge of Desire (2017), and PĆ© na Jaca (2006). With a career spanning over two decades, she has appeared in more than 40 television and film productions, showcasing her versatility and charisma.
Juliana has also played iconic characters like Gabriela in the 2012 remake of Gabriela, and Maria da Paz in Sweet Diva (2019). Her performances have earned her acclaim both in Brazil and internationally.
She has been married to Carlos Eduardo Baptista since September 9, 2008, and they have two children.
