Giorgio Lupano
Biography
Giorgio Lupano was born on 5 October 1969 in Trofarello, Piedmont, Italy. He is an actor, known for The International (2009), Fear of Loving (2010) and München 7 (2004). Having graduated in 1993 from the school of the Teatro Stabile di Torino directed by Luca Ronconi, he began his artistic career as a theatre actor , later also working for cinema and television. One of his first important roles was in 2000, when he was among the protagonists of the film The Prince's Manuscript , directed by Roberto Andò . In 2004 he was again on the big screen with the films E ridendo l'uccise , directed by Florestano Vancini and Sotto falso nome , directed by Roberto Andò. On television he acted in the miniseries Regina dei fiori (2005), in the Canale 5 TV series RIS 4 - Delitti imperfetti (2008) and in the miniseries La stella della porta Accanto , broadcast in September 2008 on Rai 1. In 2009 he took part in the film La papessa directed by Sönke Wortmann. In the fall of 2010 he was the protagonist of the first season of Paura di amare on Rai 1 and in 2013 he was also the protagonist of the second season. From 2017 to 2018 he was part of the main cast of the series Sacrificio d'amore in the role of Corrado Corradi, involved in the love triangle with his wife Silvia and one of the workers Brando Prizzi. From 2018 to 2021 he played the character of Luciano Cattaneo in the Rai 1 afternoon soap opera Il paradiso delle signore .
