Synopsis

Vadim Golikov, a successful boxing promoter, travels to the taiga to visit his old friend Platoshin, a former boxing champion of the Soviet Union. There, due to a misunderstanding, he is knocked down by Platoshin’s granddaughter, Sasha. Immediately recognizing her fighting talent, Golikov invites her to Moscow, but Sasha initially refuses. After some thought, she decides to make the trip to the capital. Ahead of her lies a tough road to success and fame as Russia’s very own "Million Dollar Baby".
