Synopsis
After the revolution, the bourgeois Nedopluev loses his appetite and sleep. Neither medicine nor the regime prescribed by the doctor helps him. He is drafted to the labor front. Putting on a robe over a house robe, he goes to work. Together with other bourgeois, he has to haul manure and load stones.
