Synopsis
“Only One Earth” (只有一个地球) is a Chinese environmental documentary series presented in four parts. The project was produced with support from China’s national environmental authorities (then the National Environmental Protection Agency, now the Ministry of Ecology and Environment) in collaboration with a documentary collective called SWYC. The film was created during roughly the same period as SWYC's Tiananmen, although unlike that series, it not blocked from releasing, and was even invited to screen during a special event commemorating Earth Day at the United Nations.
