Synopsis
A film-ballet featuring performers from the Kyrgyz State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. It is based on a national legend about faithful and all‑conquering love. The story follows a beautiful young maiden named Cholpon, who has the misfortune of crossing paths with Ai‑Dai, an evil vampire. Ai‑Dai drinks Cholpon’s blood and takes over her body. Now controlling the girl’s form, Ai‑Dai enters the palace, where she aims to win the affection of a handsome and unsuspecting prince.
