Synopsis
"Âme Cœur" tells the story of Shayna, who spends her first four years in an orphanage in South Africa. Later, she is adopted by Veer, a 50-year-old widower of Mauritian origin living in Johannesburg. Shayna, an artist devoted to painting, writing, and social projects, sees her life take a drastic turn when she suffers a stroke after a music and dance performance. Plunged into a coma for several days at the clinic, she is eventually taken off life support following Veer's traumatic decision, with the support of Dr. Jimmie. Veer then fulfills his daughter's last wish: to donate her organs.
