Synopsis
Dr. Szabó Péter, a busy head surgeon, forgets that it is his wife's birthday today. He returns from work tired, and is in no mood to join the company invited by Mária, his wife. The couple have an argument. Mária feels her life is in a rut, while she is blamed by Péter for not being an enthusiastic housewife. Mária then follows her guests into a night-club, where she is thrown off-balance by Mohai, a suave pianist, who starts courting her fervently.
