Synopsis
Tamworth, Staffordshire, England, 1986. A young boy looks on as a teenage girl gets a bat caught in her hair. Nine years later they are are brought together again, englishboth working at a UCI cinema in Tamworth. Steve harbours feelings for Simone which unfortunately are not returned. His fantasies about her increasingly take over both their lives.
