Synopsis
Twelve years after the death of his high school girlfriend, Fujima (Kenta Kiku) has become a journalist and is ordered by his editor to write an article about her as an "unsolved case processed as an accidental death." Fujima objects, saying, "Writing it will only corner the bereaved family," but is nevertheless sent to conduct interviews against his will. Unable to hide his confusion, Fujima visits the bereaved family, only to witness the man once suspected as a perpetrator, Shida (Satoshi Nikaido), living with them. The family calls Shida "Sensei" and behaves submissively towards him. While suspicious of their behavior, Fujima begins his investigation...
