Synopsis

At Cabo Fisterra, where the Way of St. James ends and the Atlantic crashes against the cliffs, two pilgrims find the body of a woman: Sofía Serrano, an employee of the pilgrims' office in Santiago de Compostela. Chief Inspector David Acosta, freshly transferred from metropolitan Valencia to rugged Galicia, takes on his first case at the remote office. The workaholic wants to use his transfer to keep in touch with his ex-wife Paola and his 15-year-old daughter. A lead leads David and his team - the experienced detective Adrián Martinz, who is reluctant to submit to his superior, and the self-confident detective Mercédes Navarro - to the mysterious pilgrim Carmelo. He turns out to be a criminal with a seductive streak. When he escapes from the police, there is a crisis in the team. While David, who is spoiled by success, comes under pressure, he has no idea that he is about to receive bad news on a personal level.
