Synopsis
Unemployed Hinrich Lobek spends his days at home in Berlin and sees himself as a victim of reunification. His wife, who works as an architect at Potsdamer Platz, loses patience over time. After some time, he decides to go to the employment office and is offered a job as a sales representative for the company Panta Rhein. On his first day at work, he accompanies loyal employee Uwe Strüwer through the dreary prefabricated housing estate. The two are unsuccessful in selling the "Jona" indoor fountain model.
