Clapper
Originally released in 1971. Clapper is a feature film. directed by Wojciech Bruszewski. At just 6 minutes, it's a tight, focused story.
Synopsis
A Klapper is one of the first found footage projects made in Poland. By creating a film from existing representations, Bruszewski formulated the thesis that film relates more to other films (representations) than to any reality lying beyond the medium. A Klapper proves the artist's contention that we are condemned to operate in a sphere of reality that is interpretatively or linguistically transformed.
