Synopsis
632 AD, the Chinese monk Xuanzang discovers the prodigious statues representing Buddha in the valley of Bamiyan Afghanistan. In 2008 the children living in the valley tell us the myths and legends about the tragic destiny of these statues that were destroyed by Talibans in 2001.
