Synopsis
A love story between two Catholic seminarians who discover their love amid the Cristero War. The day-to-day life in the seminary, the coexistence, and their routines of study and prayer bring them closer physically and emotionally, the secret relationship between Jacinto and Mateo is discovered by Cardinal Bonifacio, which triggers a great conflict of faith that is overshadowed by the outbreak of the war. After the seizure of the Seminary by Calles' Federal Army, the students and priests are shot for defending their faith, their ideals, and their love before the world with the cry of ¡Viva Cristo Rey!
