Synopsis
Bella is a rare and stunning pigeon who has taken the world of pigeon breeders in Israel and Dubai by storm. When Bella goes missing at a Palestinian wedding in the West Bank, Yaki, Bilal, Limor, and Nargis set out on a roller-coaster journey to bring her to the Breeders’ Association beauty contest, where a wealthy and mysterious buyer awaits. They race through the August heat in a beat-up car with no air conditioning, trying to stay out of politics—but Israeli reality has plans of its own. Checkpoints, chaos at the wedding, the theft of the bride and groom’s car, and a real threat to Bella’s life are only a small part of the mayhem. Now all that’s left is to try to reach the competition in time and secure their ticket out to a carefree life. Will they succeed?
