Synopsis
Set in a mountain town in Mexico, the story centers on 11-year-old Cocoi, a curious and impulsive boy deeply attached to his older sister, Xiomara. With their father consumed by rigid traditions and a growing debt burden, Xiomara is Cocoi’s only source of comfort and guidance. But when Cocoi discovers that Xiomara secretly plans to leave the ranch to escape their oppressive life, he becomes desperate to keep her close.
